Festival of Nations

We recently attended the Festival of Nations at the Saint Paul RiverCentre - a multicultural celebration of different cultures, traditions, and cuisines.  Here we are enjoying the Korean exhibit:
Browsing at the international bazaar:
Fun Norwegian Viking hat, Daddy!
 My turn!
Zander's favorite was the Venezuelan booth - from the animated puppets...
...to all the musical instruments - Nana had fun watching him pick out a wooden 'flute':
We sampled food from the Korean 'cafe':  Bulgogi (BBQ beef), Mandu (Korean dumplings), and Bibimbap (rice bowl with vegetables and beef), as well as some yummy Thai food later in the day.  Just before we left, we were able to enjoy some live Irish music, including a lovely harp.  Here the kid are enjoying the music - Zander also recognized the Korean flag up on the wall (right side):
We were delighted that Kiana did so well at the event - and continue to be amazed by the speed of her integration into our family.  It was entertaining to watch her dance to the Irish music - nice moves Sweetie!
